Freedom House is learning,
Where honesty and respect are rules,

Only I can decide to make the most of it.

Here I must do all it takes to find my true goal.

I will learn that I am not my attitudes nor my behaviors,
For I am a creative being with needs, feelings and dreams.

I choose my misery and pain,
I must learn to choose happiness and strive to feel good.

I need to belong, to love, to share and cooperate,
If I am to have fun, have control, feel free.

I have the power to change what I do and think,
Regardless of how I feel.

I can express my feelings, my thoughts, my fears,
I am coming out of my shell,
Tearing down the walls,
Escaping my self-made prison.

Here I will use the lessons I learn,
So I can begin to negotiate and compromise.

I have confidence in myself and my guides.

I will stop assigning values to everything I see or hear.
The world exists. It is good or bad or ugly in my mind’s eye.
The values I have in my head I can change or replace.

Yesterday is alive in my mind only,
Tomorrow is in my dreams.

I have the power over here and now,
The freedom to choose.

Here, at Freedom House I can find
Freedom at last.
