Freedom House’s rules and procedures are the following:

Visits are permitted every
Sunday from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. |

Weekend outings are permitted
for clients that have been at the Center for a minimum of thirty days (an
earlier pass requires an approval from the direction). Clients can then be
given a pass, upon discretion of their assigned staff member, from Friday
11:00 am until Sunday 5:00 pm. |

Phone calls and mail can be
received upon arrival. Phone calls may be made after 6:00 pm on week nights
and after 1:00 pm on weekends. |

A urine test can be asked at any
given time to a client from a staff member. |
 |
One on one counselling is given
Monday through Thursday. |
 |
Any visitor at the Center that
is suspected of being under the influence of any substance can be asked to
leave the Center. |
What the client may bring
 |
Clothes: no shorts (Bermudas are
accepted), no sleeveless shirts. Washing is once a week. |

Personal effects for hygiene:
tooth brush, toothpaste, etc. |

Only non-alcoholic hygiene
products are permitted in the Center. |
 |
Binder, loose leaf, pencil, pen,
highlighter, eraser. |
 |
The client can also bring a
walkman, books, or other personal belongings, although Freedom House is not
responsible if any of these effects are lost, stolen or damaged. |
What the client may not bring
 |
Weapons, drug/alcohol paraphernalia, pornographic
materials, computers, pagers or cellular phones are not permitted at the
Center. |
